Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. How many people are there in your regular departure tours?
We take a minimum of 4 people in our regular departure tours and a maximum of 7 per vehicle. We have a window seat guarantee in all our regular departure tours.

2. Do we require visas to visit your country?
We suggest that you contact the nearest consulate of the country you would like to visit back at home. If this is difficult then we will be able to provide this information on request. We will however require to know your nationality and the countries you will be visiting. Apart from this we will also be in a position to provide a comprehensive list of all paperwork required for your visit.

3. What kind of transportation is available on safari?
On our tours we use customized safari minibuses and 4WD Cruisers/Land rovers with pop-up roof, sliding windows and high frequency radio for communication.

4. How much luggage should we carry?
Due to limited space in our safari vehicles we recommend that each and every person carry one suitcase/rucksack and a carry on bag.

5. Is there mosquito protection in the lodges/camps?
In most of the lodges/camps mosquito netting is provided. We suggest that you carry mosquito repellant cream. Please contact us for the update on facilities once you establish the places you will be visiting as facilities differ from place to place.

6. Do I require yellow fever vaccination?
Please contact the nearest consulate. We will be in a position to advise on the same on request together with any other medical requirements.

7. Do I require to take malaria tablets?
Africa is generally endemic with malaria. We suggest that you contact your physician. It is normally recommended that you take malaria tablets before and after your visit to Africa.

8. What do I require while on a camping safari?
On our camping safaris all is provided except sleeping bags, which we hire out at a reasonable fee. The facilities differ from location to location, though the basic is 2 person tent plus a mattress. There are some locations whereby there is "pinch of luxury" such as tents with beds and mattress, hot showers, flush toilets, swimming pool and electricity. As stated earlier the facilities differ from location to location and we suggest that you contact us for the latest update.
